"Here’s looking at your cilia, kid!" in the "Backstage Uni Wuppertal" podcast
Berlin, Saarland, Wuppertal. Molecular biologist Dr. Franziska Drews (Research Group Molecular Cell Biology and Microbiology) follows her research through half of Germany. At first she researches plants, but at some point she ends up with "her slippers". In the first "Backstage" episode of the new year, she explains what makes slipper animals so important for research, where biology students encounter them during their studies, and that as a biologist it is best to walk through the (surrounding) world with curiosity and open eyes.
